Warehouse Operations Lead

Valebridge Logistics is a family-owned regional carrier with 11 years in business, and we promote our leads from inside the warehouse. We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Lead who takes ownership of their shift end to end — someone whose team trusts them to be there, to communicate clearly, and to keep the floor safe and moving.

This is a four-day compressed week at one of our Midwest hubs. Overtime is optional and paid at time and a half.

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across your shift, including inbound, outbound, and staging
• Coordinate directly with dispatch to ensure on-time loading and departure of routes
• Hold the team to safety standards and address hazards before they become incidents
• Track shift metrics — accuracy, throughput, on-time performance — and flag deviations early
• Onboard and mentor new warehouse team members
• Be the first point of contact for any mid-shift issue that needs a decision

• At least 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity
• A genuine safety-first mindset — not a checklist habit, but a real one
• Strong communicator: clear with your team, clear with dispatch, clear on paper
• Reliable — your shift depends on you showing up and being present
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to work a four-day compressed schedule at a Midwest hub location
