Overnight Production Lead

Mile High Salsa Co. is a 22-person hot sauce and salsa plant in north Denver, and we are looking for an Overnight Production Lead to own the line while the rest of the building sleeps. This is not a supervisory title in name only — you will run the shift, hold the crew accountable, and make sure every batch that leaves the cooker is safe, on spec, and on time. Shift: 10 pm – 6 am, four nights a week. Shift differential included in pay.

• Lead a small overnight crew through high-volume hot sauce and salsa production, start to finish
• Own food-safety compliance on shift — complete and sign off all required paperwork without being prompted
• Train new line workers on process, safety, and quality standards, and hold them to those standards night after night
• Identify and resolve line problems in real time; escalate only when you genuinely cannot resolve it yourself
• Hand off a clean line and complete documentation at shift end, every time
• Coordinate with the day team so nothing falls through between shifts

• Demonstrated experience running a production line in high-volume food manufacturing — this is the single most important thing on your application
• Reliable on overnight and weekend schedules; we need someone who is consistent, not someone who is available in theory
• Comfortable owning food-safety documentation from start to finish (ServSafe certification a plus — we cover renewal)
• Proven ability to train and hold a small crew accountable without constant oversight
• Physical stamina for a hot, loud, fast-moving production environment
• A degree is not required and will not substitute for real line experience
