Max is looking for an HR Intern to join our small but growing team. This is a hands-on internship where you'll get real experience in human resources operations, employee relations, and recruitment. You'll work directly with our HR team on projects that have a real impact on how we hire, onboard, and support our employees. This is a remote position, so you can contribute from anywhere.

• Help source and screen candidates for open positions, including reviewing applications and conducting initial phone interviews
• Assist with posting job descriptions on career boards and managing the applicant tracking system
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and coordinating first-day logistics
• Help maintain and organize employee records, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly filed
• Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating calendars between candidates and hiring managers
• Support the planning and execution of company events, team activities, and employee engagement initiatives
• Help draft internal communications such as policy updates, announcements, and HR newsletters
• Gather feedback from employees and managers to identify areas for improvement in HR processes
• Assist with basic HR administrative tasks including expense tracking, benefits inquiries, and payroll coordination
• Help research HR best practices and industry trends relevant to our company size and needs

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to work
• Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly
• Reliable and responsive, with a willingness to ask questions when unsure

• Prior internship or work experience in HR, recruiting, or people operations
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or HR software platforms
• Experience with scheduling tools and basic project management
• Interest in employee relations or organizational development
