TAS Senior Associate

We're looking for a TAS Senior Associate to join our Finance team at KLBL Company LLC. In this role, you'll provide technical accounting support and analysis across our operations, helping ensure our financial records are accurate and compliant. You'll work on complex accounting issues, prepare technical memoranda, and support our accounting team with research and documentation. This is a remote position that offers flexibility while you contribute to the financial health of a growing company.

• Review and analyze transactions to identify accounting treatment questions and research appropriate guidance under GAAP and other accounting standards
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda documenting the accounting analysis, conclusion, and supporting rationale for complex or non-routine transactions
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements, including identifying and resolving account reconciliation issues
• Assist with accounting for business combinations, equity transactions, and other specialized accounting matters
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures documentation to reflect current practices and regulatory requirements
• Work with the accounting team to implement accounting system improvements and process enhancements
• Research and communicate updates on accounting standard changes and their potential impact on our financial reporting
• Support audit preparation by organizing documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information needed for accurate financial reporting and analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous experience in accounting, with exposure to technical accounting or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyze complex transactions and communicate findings clearly in writing
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA
• Experience with ASC 606 (revenue recognition) or ASC 842 (lease accounting)
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Experience in a public accounting firm or corporate accounting department
• Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements
