Kit LLC is looking for an Operations Clerk to join our small, growing team in San Francisco. You'll be the backbone of our day-to-day operations, handling the administrative and logistical work that keeps our business running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with leadership, manage key processes, and see the direct impact of your work on the company. Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports accurately and on time
Maintain and organize company records, files, and documentation systems
Coordinate scheduling for meetings, appointments, and facility bookings
Manage inventory tracking and coordinate with vendors for supplies and equipment
Prepare routine reports and documents for management review
Handle data entry and maintain accurate records in company databases and spreadsheets
Support onboarding processes for new team members, including paperwork and orientation coordination
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as reconciling accounts and tracking expenses
Respond to routine administrative requests from team members
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and suggest improvements to operations

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email systems
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable learning new software systems and tools

Experience with basic bookkeeping or accounting software
Familiarity with project management or workflow tools
Prior experience in a startup or small business environment
Knowledge of general business processes and office operations
