Geodyssey Research LLC is looking for a Customer Support Representative to join our small, dedicated team. You'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, helping them get the most out of our research services and resolving any issues that come up. This is a remote position that offers the chance to work directly with customers and have a real impact on their experience with our company.

Answer customer questions via email, phone, and chat about our research products and services
Troubleshoot technical issues and guide customers through solutions step-by-step
Document customer inquiries and resolutions in our support system for tracking and improvement
Follow up with customers to confirm issues are fully resolved and gather feedback
Identify patterns in customer problems and communicate them to the product team for improvements
Process account requests, including setup, upgrades, and cancellations
Maintain a professional and helpful tone while managing multiple customer interactions daily
Respond to support tickets within agreed-upon timeframes
Escalate complex or urgent issues to management when needed

1-2 years of customer support experience (in any industry)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, clear language
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for calls
Proficiency with email, chat platforms, and basic computer troubleshooting
Patience and problem-solving mindset when working with frustrated customers
Availability to work during standard business hours (flexible schedule to be discussed)

Experience with research tools, data platforms, or scientific software
Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems like Zendesk or Freshdesk
Background in research, analytics, or a technical field
Experience supporting B2B (business-to-business) clients
