Customer Service - Work From Home

Avantor is seeking a part-time Customer Service representative to join our remote team. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth experience with our products and services. This role offers flexibility to work from home while making a real impact on customer satisfaction and retention.

• Answer customer phone calls, emails, and chat messages in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot customer issues and provide solutions or escalate to appropriate departments when needed
• Process orders, returns, and refunds according to company policies
• Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in our CRM system
• Respond to product questions and provide information about features, pricing, and availability
• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
• Identify patterns in customer feedback and communicate common concerns to the management team
• Meet or exceed quality and response time targets set by the company
• Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude when handling difficult or frustrated customers
• Familiarize yourself with company products, services, and policies to answer questions accurately

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (phone, email, or chat support)
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, which may include evenings or weekends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with email, web browsers, and learning new software systems
• Patience and empathy when working with customers
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy when entering information

• Experience with e-commerce or technical product support
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or customer service software
• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish or other languages)
