Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Cedar Creek Veterinary Clinic is a 14-person small-animal practice on Federal Blvd in Denver. We are hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our floor team: anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, dental radiographs, in-house lab work and client education. Four 10-hour shifts a week, Saturdays on rotation.

• Monitor anesthesia and recovery for 8-12 surgeries a week
• Place IV catheters, draw blood and run in-house CBC/chemistry
• Take dental and full-body radiographs
• Educate clients on discharge instructions and home care
• Maintain the controlled-substance log and surgical packs
• Mentor veterinary assistants

• Current Colorado CVT credential (required)
• 2+ years in small-animal general practice or emergency
• Comfortable with fear-free handling of anxious animals
• Able to work four 10-hour shifts including rotating Saturdays
• Reliable transport to Federal Blvd, Denver

• Fear Free certification
• RECOVER CPR certification
• Spanish

• $26-$32 per hour depending on experience
• Paid weekly on Fridays
