Bace LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive efficiency across our Kingston facility. You'll manage teams, coordinate workflows, solve operational problems, and ensure we meet our service and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work directly with staff, identify process improvements, and report on performance metrics to senior management.

Supervise daily operations and manage team schedules, assignments, and performance
Monitor production or service delivery metrics and identify areas for improvement
Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures across the facility
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities, address concerns, and gather feedback
Track inventory, equipment, and resource allocation to minimize waste and control costs
Respond to operational issues quickly and implement corrective actions
Prepare reports on operational performance, staffing, and budget utilization for management review
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in the workplace
Train and develop team members, providing feedback and coaching for growth
Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to support facility operations
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for operations staff

5+ years of operations management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, logistics, service, or similar environment
Proven ability to manage teams of 10+ people and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong understanding of operations metrics, KPIs, and how to use data to improve performance
Experience with scheduling software, inventory systems, or operations management tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, operations, or related field preferred
Willingness to be flexible with hours when operational needs require it

Experience in the Caribbean or similar business environment
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Background in health and safety management or certifications (OSHA, etc.)
Experience with ERP or advanced business management software
