Bace LLC is seeking a Motivator of the Demotivated to join our Human Resources team in Antarctica. This is a unique opportunity to work in one of the world's most challenging environments, supporting employees who face the psychological and physical demands of remote polar research and operations. You'll be responsible for identifying team members experiencing low morale or disengagement and implementing practical interventions to restore motivation and job satisfaction. This role combines counseling skills, organizational psychology, and genuine human connection in an extraordinary setting.

Conduct regular one-on-one conversations with employees to assess morale, identify sources of dissatisfaction, and understand personal challenges affecting work performance
Develop individualized motivation strategies based on each employee's specific circumstances, goals, and values
Facilitate small group sessions and workshops focused on resilience, coping strategies, and maintaining mental health in isolated environments
Partner with managers to address systemic issues contributing to low morale, such as workload imbalances, unclear expectations, or inadequate recognition
Monitor employee engagement trends and report findings to HR leadership and senior management
Connect struggling employees with appropriate resources, including mental health professionals, peer support networks, or external counseling services
Create and maintain confidential records of interventions and outcomes while respecting employee privacy
Organize social and recreational activities that build community and provide relief from work stress
Provide managers with coaching on how to recognize early signs of disengagement and maintain supportive team dynamics
Evaluate the effectiveness of motivation initiatives and adjust approaches based on feedback and measurable outcomes

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
3+ years of experience in HR, employee relations, or a role involving direct support of employee wellbeing
Demonstrated ability to build trust and have honest conversations with people from diverse backgrounds
Strong listening skills and genuine interest in understanding what motivates individuals
Ability to remain calm and supportive when working with frustrated or discouraged employees
Experience working in remote, isolated, or high-stress environments (preferred but not required)
Willingness to relocate to Antarctica for the duration of employment
Physical and mental fitness to work in extreme polar conditions
Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and unpredictable situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Certification in coaching, conflict resolution, or organizational development
Experience with employee engagement surveys and data analysis
Background in crisis intervention or mental health support
Previous work in research stations, military, or other isolated operational settings
