A.I. Workforce Solutions is seeking NDT X-ray Level II technicians to join our clients aerospace and defense engineering team in City of Industry, California. You'll perform non-destructive testing using radiographic methods on critical aerospace components and assemblies. This role requires someone who can work independently, follow strict quality standards, and produce reliable test results that ensure product safety and compliance with aerospace specifications.

Operate industrial X-ray equipment to capture radiographic images of aerospace components, assemblies, and welds
Interpret radiographic films and digital images according to ASTM, AWS, and aerospace industry standards
Document test results, measurements, and findings in inspection reports and quality records
Set up equipment parameters including exposure time, distance, voltage, and film placement based on component specifications
Position components and X-ray sources to achieve proper geometry and image quality
Maintain calibration records and perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
Identify defects, discontinuities, and material inconsistencies in radiographic images
Communicate test findings to engineering and quality teams
Follow all radiation safety protocols and maintain required safety documentation
Comply with aerospace quality standards including AS9100 and customer-specific requirements

ASNT Level II certification in Radiography
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience performing X-ray radiography
Knowledge of ASTM E94, AWS D1.1, and aerospace inspection standards
Understanding of radiation safety principles and exposure control
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment
Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

ASNT Level III certification in Radiography
Experience with digital radiography systems and image analysis software
Familiarity with aerospace quality systems (AS9100, AS9102)
Experience in the defense or aerospace manufacturing sector
