A.I. Workforce Solutions is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our clients engineering team in Corona, CA. You'll oversee technical projects, mentor engineers, and work directly with leadership to shape our product direction. This role combines hands-on technical work with team management, giving you the chance to build something meaningful in a small, collaborative environment.

Lead a small engineering team through design, development, and deployment of software solutions
Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to help team members improve their skills
Plan project timelines, set milestones, and track progress against deliverables
Work with product and leadership to define technical requirements and feasibility
Identify bottlenecks in development processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency
Hire and onboard new engineers as the team grows
Participate in hands-on coding and architecture decisions for critical projects
Troubleshoot technical issues and help unblock team members when they get stuck
Document engineering processes, standards, and best practices
Report on team performance, project status, and technical debt to leadership

7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentorship role
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar)
Experience managing small teams or leading technical initiatives
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think through complex technical challenges
Excellent communication skills—you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with software development practices like version control, testing, and CI/CD
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)7

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
Background in agile or scrum methodologies
Experience building or scaling engineering teams from scratch
